WB Atkins Park
W.B. Atkins Memorial Park (Millsboro Little League)
W. B. Atkins Memorial Park is the home of the Millsboro Little League. There are five fields for softball and baseball that accommodate ages ranges from the younger tee ball players all the way up to the big-league teams. Millsboro Little League volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to help the park to continue to thrive and be one of the best in the area. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters - you name it, and they are there working and cheering for their favorite players and team. There have been both tears and laughter coming from those fields, and we have seen a lot of youth grow up and carry away memories of a lifetime with their time spent playing ball on the fields in Millsboro.
Fun fact: Did you know?! Major League Baseball player (1920-1935) Walter "Huck" Betts who played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Boston Braves is from Millsboro!
